IVANKA TRUMP JUST RECEIVED SOMETHING THAT IS USUALLY ONLY BESTOWED ON THE FIRST LADY
As the race for key cabinet posts in the upcoming Trump administration comes to close, there remains plenty of speculation about some key jobs within the White House itself. A good portion of that speculation is centering on what role – if any – President-elect Trump’s children may play.
As CNN reports, at least one of them is being eyed for an office in the nation’s capital – as is her husband. Rumors suggest that Ivanka Trump will occupy an office in the East Wing that will be known as the “Office of the First Family,” while her husband, Jared Kushner, may slide into a role in the West Wing. There are federal nepotism laws on the books that could make the role of Trump’s children a sticky situation, but they can easily bypass any potential controversy by foregoing paychecks.
As for Donald Jr. and Eric Trump, they are reportedly set to take the reins of their father’s business empire. Future First Lady Melania Trump will of course have a huge role as well, but she’s expected to spend a good deal of time in New York City with son Barron Trump so that he can finish out the school year.
